The shop (and it really does look more shop than bar) was uncomfortably warm, but there's a shaded garden out the back. It does unfortunately come with the hum of the air-conditioning unit, but it'll do. The slatted wooden benches here cannot be described as the last word in comfort.
It's mainly keg on the back wall these days; a sole cask bitter competing with the usual Pale Ales and the like.
As earlier visitors have described, there are several fridges, but the prices are ferocious even at the slightly discounted take-home prices.
Worth a visit, then, if not an extended session.

A small long and narrow bar, beardy beer nerds serving a decent range of beer, nice enough but I've been to better.

Alovely little micro/bottle shop.Friendly welcombe.Two cask beer and about 8 keg beers.My Elusive beer on cask was superb and my Lovibonds brewery beer was as good.Long narrow shop conversion with outside space at the rear.Great.
